The DSU provides training on behalf of NICE. We have run events for the NICE technical team, appraisal committee members and those submitting evidence (manufacturers, consultancies and academic groups).

These courses have covered general issues around technology assessment and appraisals, the application of specific methods in areas such as evidence synthesis and the use of software for decision modelling.

For more information on any of these courses or events that the DSU could run, please contact the DSU Project Manager, Liz Metham

Training resources produced by the DSU are intended to provide assistance to those involved in submitting or critiquing evidence as part of the NICE Technology Appraisals Programme.

Please be aware that whilst the production of these resources was funded by NICE through its Decision Support Unit, the views expressed are of the authors/training providers only. NICE may take account of the content of these resources, but it is not bound to do so.
